For Greener Thumbs, Tip #15: What is your plant hardiness zone?
Did you know that depending on where you live, that based off your climate, temperature, last and first frost zone, the USDA defines your location into Plant Hardiness Zones. The zones can be between 1-13 including sub categories like 1a, 1b and so on.
You should consider your zone always, before choosing what plants you plan to grow outside.
Easiest way to check is through the USDA plant hardiness zone website. Here’s a link for you to check your zone: USDA Plant Hardiness Zone
