Jacksonville Arboretum

Spent time at the Jacksonville Arboretum which was a peaceful and pleasant time. Came to town to do a running race, the Never Quit 10 K in the Jacksonville Beach. Had time afterwards to see this pretty little gem. Walked about 1-2 miles around the trails and saw different species of plants. And plenty of wildlife as well. Little lizards, salamander, snake, turtles, baby alligator, birds, dragonfly’s and 🦋.

What came first? Candy corn or the plant based candy corn?

Beautiful Spanish Moss.

Apparently the national champion of Loblolly is this tree. Screwed together with big bolts!!

I’ve got a turtle head pokin out!!

Happy days For Greener Thumbs readers!!
